This course is aimed at
developing the students’ understanding and competence in English grammar
structure. They are supposed to be able to analyze grammar structure in written
form. Thus, they are able to evaluate and create or use grammar structure in
correct sentences. The topics include part of speech, tenses, modal, passive
voice, conditional sentence and subjunctive and gerund and to infinitive. The
activities cover classroom discussion, focus group discussion, lecturing which
can be included both in synchronous and asynchronous classroom setting and quiz.
The evaluation on the students’ achievement is based on the students’ practices
on grammar exercises, the mid test, final test, and their classroom attendance
as well as students’ participation.
