This course is designed to provide the fifth
semester students with theoretical and practical knowledge about assessment in
English language learning, including theories of language testing as well as
theories of authentic assessment. In addition, by having this course, the
students are expected to be able to develop the students’ skills of planning,
developing, and applying English assessment instruments in the forms of tests
and authentic assessment instruments by concerning the principles of assessment
